All about Rachel

​

I am a mother in my 50s who likes to take pictures.  I was born in Ankara, Turkey while my father was stationed there as a Marine.  I grew up in Texas and Oklahoma, so I am a southern girl.  Then I moved to Wisconsin just after I graduated from nursing school.  Now I now live in New Hampshire.  It's a long way from Texas and a whole other climate, but I love it.  The scenery alone is so worth it!  

 

I am married to a man that is a bit younger than me, but we make it work.  I have 5 children with the older three in their 30s and the younger two being 11 and 13.  I have one with autism and ADHD, so he keeps us on our toes.  

 

As I said, I'm a nurse of over 25 years who can take care of you, your children, and your elders.  I have worked in critical care, emergency rooms, the cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology, both pediatric  and adult ICU, and a clinic.  You got it, I might know how to take care of it.

We have 2 cats now, but for years I was a ferret mommy.  If you know anything about them you will know that they are the cutest little critters underfoot.

 

I have always been interested in photography, mainly waterfalls and such.  I do take pictures of animals, but they are not my forte.  I started out with a point and shoot digital and used my phone in a pinch.  I still use my phone, but I have a big girl camera now and am learning the ins and outs of that one.
